All the parties representing the North and East met in Colombo yesterday and took steps to hold a discussion.
In that discussion, they have taken steps to pass 3 resolutions to inform the President.
The first proposal is to release all the occupied lands in the North East.
The second is holding the provincial council election.
The third is the preparation of a new constitution that divides power between the North and the East.
The parties have decided to inform the President of these proposals in the future.
