Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has submitted his resignation letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He has taken this decision just a few hours before the third round of talks scheduled between the “Cockroach Janata Party” and the Indian central government.
The Minister also announced his resignation through his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Dharmendra Pradhan decided to step down from his position following the youth protests that have continued across the country for nearly a month.
The resignation of the Education Minister had been one of the key demands raised by the youth-led “Cockroach Janata Party” as part of their ongoing protests.
The protests were triggered by allegations of irregularities in the NEET medical entrance examination, with the main accusations being directed at Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
