To commemorate its 65th anniversary, the People’s Bank Welfare and Staff Loans Department recently organized a blood donation camp at the ‘People’s Tower’ Head Office in Colombo 2.
The event was graced by the presence of People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka, Deputy General Manager (Compliance) Samanthi Senanayake, Deputy General Manager (Human Resources) Manjula Dissanayake, Deputy General Manager (Banking Support Services) Indumini Rathnayake, and Chief Manager (Welfare and Staff Loans) Ajith Rathnayake.
The collection of blood was carried out under the close supervision of medical professionals from the National Blood Transfusion Service. Through this annual initiative, People’s Bank contributes a significant volume of blood each year to the Blood Bank, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility.
