President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s scheduled official visit to France has been postponed, according to reports.
No official statement has yet been issued regarding the reason for postponing the visit, which was scheduled to commence on July 16. It is also reported that neither the Presidential Media Division nor the French authorities have announced a new date for the visit.
The visit was expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and France, expanding economic cooperation, and encouraging French investment in Sri Lanka.
This is the second time the official visit has been postponed.
