An inmate who was transferred to the Angunakolapelessa Prison following the unrest at the Negombo Prison has also died.
Meanwhile, another inmate who had been transferred to the Boossa Prison also died after suffering a sudden illness. He passed away after being admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital in Galle.
