He made this statement while addressing the media upon his arrival at the P.D. Sirisena Stadium in Maligawatte, where the Samagi Jana Balawegaya May Day rally is currently being held.
Commenting further on the rally, Marikkar noted that the United National Party (UNP) has been invited to participate. He added that even if the party declines the invitation at present, there remains a possibility that its decision could change in the future.
