Ceylinco Life reaffirmed its commitment to recognising and inspiring excellence within its sales force with the celebration of ‘High Flyers Day 2026,’ a signature event that brought together more than 300 of the company’s top-performing Sales Officers for an evening of recognition, reflection and renewed ambition.

Held at the luxurious ITC Ratnadipa Colombo, the event honoured Sales Officers who had achieved High Flyers Status, earned ‘Sales Superstar’ recognition, or qualified for the globally respected Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), for their performance in 2025.

Centered on the theme ‘Beyond Excellence,’ the 2026 edition of High Flyers Day was designed not only to celebrate achievement, but to challenge the company’s best to raise the bar even higher, to transcend targets, lead by example, and set new benchmarks for success across the organisation.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Directors and senior management, underscoring the importance Ceylinco Life places on its sales force as the driving force behind its continued market leadership. The formal proceedings were followed by a fellowship dinner and entertainment, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the bonds within the high-performing community.

Ceylinco Life Executive Chairman Mr R. Renganathan and Chief Operating Officer Mr Samitha Hemachandra delivered impactful motivational speeches at the event, which also included a panel discussion that enabled a few top achievers to share their knowledge with the audience.

Adding further inspiration to the evening was a compelling address by former Sri Lanka cricket captain Angelo Mathews, who shared insights from his career on overcoming challenges, sustaining performance under pressure, and leading from the front. His reflections resonated strongly with the audience, reinforcing the parallels between sporting excellence and success in the competitive world of life insurance.

In recognition of their outstanding achievements, all qualifying participants were hosted to an overnight stay at the ITC Ratnadipa Colombo, elevating the experience into a complete celebration of accomplishment and appreciation.

High Flyers Day continues to serve as a powerful platform within Ceylinco Life’s annual calendar, honouring the individuals who exemplify the discipline, resilience and results-driven mindset that define the company’s sales culture. By celebrating its top achievers in this manner, the company not only acknowledges past success but also sets the tone for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

Recognised as the Best Life Insurer in Sri Lanka by World Finance for the 12th consecutive year and voted the ‘Peoples Life Insurance Service Provider of the Year’ for an unprecedented 20th consecutive year in 2025, Ceylinco Life offers innovative insurance solutions that protect and de-risk the ambitions of policyholders. In 2025, Ceylinco Life was also ranked the most valuable insurance brand in Sri Lanka and the 22nd most valuable brand overall by Brand Finance.

The Company has additionally been adjudged Sri Lanka’s Brand of the Year twice within the past five years and has been recognised among the 10 Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka by the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
