NSBM Green University proudly presents Elevate — the official Press Conference & Alumni Night for Finora 2025, the premier student-led fashion show that celebrates innovation, artistry, and timeless expression. Elevate is set to be a vibrant gathering that blends the elegance of fashion, the richness of heritage, and the excitement of a creative journey.
Taking place on 2nd October 2025 at 5:00 PM at the NSBM Auditorium, Elevate will mark an important milestone in the countdown to Finora 2025. This gathering will unite students, alumni, industry partners, sponsors, and media representatives in a celebration of style, connection, and innovation — setting the stage for the grand showcase to come.
Finora, now a highly anticipated highlight of the academic calendar, has become more than just a fashion competition. It is a platform for innovation, self-expression, and cultural storytelling. Each year, it brings together a vibrant mix of creative minds — designers, models, choreographers, and stylists — whose work reflects not only fashion trends but also deeper narratives of identity, culture, and artistry.
Elevate will serve as the moment where the vision of Finora 2025 is revealed to the world. The event will:
- Officially launch Finora 2025, unveiling the theme, concept, and vision that will guide this year’s creative journey.
- Announce the sponsors whose support plays a vital role in making Finora possible — Munchee Black Edition, Yadea, Media Factory, Barista, Sunshine holdings, Wickramarachchi, Janet, SPC, Cargo, Exclusive9 Gem & Jewelry, Ice Plant, Naturals and Derana.
- Present the designers and models chosen to showcase their artistry on stage.
- Reveal the much-anticipated Department Magazine, a compilation of creativity, insight, and innovation from NSBM students.
- Host a dedicated Alumni Engagement session, creating a meaningful space for networking, inspiration, and dialogue between past graduates, current students, and industry professionals — featuring alumni such as Sachin Weerasooriya – Senior manager marketing communications at LOLC Holdings PLC, Sayuri Melissa Karunatilaka – Manager, event planning at Cinnamon Life City of Dreams, Yasoj Lokuliyana – Executive Corporate communications unit at Hayleys PLC, Manura Alwis – Co-founder at Manura Design studio.
