Competing against a talented pool of speakers, the club’s representatives showcased their eloquence, confidence, and quick thinking, securing remarkable victories.
Jeewantha Induruwa clinched 2nd place in the highly competitive International Speech Contest, impressing judges and audiences alike with his compelling delivery and persuasive storytelling. Meanwhile, Mohamed Fazlan emerged as the 1st place winner in the Table Topics Contest, demonstrating exceptional ability to think on his feet and deliver impactful responses. Adding to the club’s success, Senal Ratnayake secured 2nd place in the Table Topics Contest, further solidifying NDB Toastmasters’ triumph.
With these outstanding achievements, the NDB Toastmasters Club continues its legacy of fostering communication and leadership skills among its members. As a testament to their success, the winners will now advance to the Division E Year-End Conference in 2025, where they will represent the club at a higher level of competition.
