NDB Bank has proudly partnered with the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) to introduce an exclusive Affinity Credit Card program for its members. The official signing ceremony commemorating this partnership was held recently at NDB Bank’s Nawam Mawatha premises, with representatives from NDB Bank and AAC in attendance.

The AAC Affinity Card was launched during the Automobile Associations of Ceylon’s milestone 120th Anniversary celebration held at the Hilton Colombo. This historic occasion provided a fitting platform to unveil this bespoke financial solution, honouring AAC’s century-long legacy while celebrating the continued progress of Sri Lanka’s motoring community.

The AAC Affinity Credit Card, designed exclusively for its members, brings a host of tailored benefits. In addition to financial convenience, cardholders will enjoy special privileges, including a waiver of the first year’s annual fee, easy installment payment options, and exclusive discounts at partner merchants. Furthermore, the cardholders will have access to a suite of competitive financial services curated by NDB Bank to enhance their motoring experiences and financial well-being.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ashan Wikramanayake, AVP, Head of Card Centre at NDB Bank, remarked, “We are delighted to partner with the Automobile Association of Ceylon in launching this exclusive Affinity Credit Card program. This collaboration reflects our commitment to developing bespoke financial solutions that empower niche communities such as AAC’s distinguished members.”

Established in 1904, the Automobile Association of Ceylon stands as Sri Lanka’s premier motoring club, offering diverse services to the motoring community. With a strong legacy of over a century, AAC is not only a beacon of support for motorists but also a key advocate for road safety awareness across the nation.

This collaboration between NDB Bank and the Automobile Association of Ceylon underscores the Bank’s dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships that drive innovation and create value for communities. The launch of the AAC Affinity Credit Card is a celebration of the Association’s legacy and a step forward in empowering Sri Lanka’s motoring community.

NDB Bank is the fourth-largest listed commercial bank in Sri Lanka. NDB was named Sri Lanka’s Best Bank for Corporates at Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024 and was awarded Domestic Retail Bank of the Year – Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Domestic Project Finance Bank of the Year by Asian Banking and Finance Magazine (Singapore) Awards 2024.
