The Disaster Management Center (DMC) announced that an emergency discussion was convened to address the potential impacts of the northeast monsoon, which is expected to establish itself across the country in the coming days.
The meeting, organized by the DMC’s Preparedness Division, was conducted online and brought together representatives from key institutions, including District Disaster Management Authorities, the Department of Examinations, the Department of Meteorology, the Irrigation Department, the National Building Research Organization (NBRO), and officers from the tri-forces.
