The Sri Lanka Banks’ Association (SLBA) has congratulated President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his party’s resounding victory at the Parliamentary election and pledged its support to the new government in the challenging journey ahead.

The Association, which represents all licenced banks in Sri Lanka, also noted that its recent interactions with the Presidential Secretariat has given it confidence in the President’s inclusive approach to problem-solving.

The full text of the SLBA congratulatory message: “Please accept our heartfelt congratulations on your party’s resounding victory in the recent Parliamentary election.

The people of Sri Lanka have trusted you and your team, and we are confident that you will lead the nation towards prosperity with transparency and accountability.
