Mr. Tilvin Silva remarked that since 1977, Ranil Wickremesinghe has relied on public funds for his support.
He added that even after his electoral defeat, Mr. Wickremesinghe has continued to request privileges through formal letters.
Mr. Silva further commented that the government has already reached a decision regarding Mr. Wickremesinghe. He noted that, rather than learning about upholding the constitution from him, the lesson appears to be about how to undermine it.
