Sajith Premadasa stated that despite the current government engaging in two rounds of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), they failed to secure the relief promised during their election campaign.
He emphasized that during the negotiations with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), the IMF had agreed to a relief package.
Premadasa urged the public to rally behind the SJB to implement this agreement and deliver the promised relief to the people.
