The Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission has launched an inquiry into the acquisition of assets by several former ministers, according to reports.
Court orders have reportedly been secured to initiate investigations concerning former ministers Anupa Pasqual and Johnston Fernando.
Additionally, a senior official from the Commission has confirmed that investigations are also underway regarding former ministers Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Prasanna Ranatunga, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, and Marvin Silva.
