Mr. Wasantha Samarasinghe stated that while former President Ranil Wickramasinghe referred to Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake as “my friend,” Wickramasinghe will still be required to face legal proceedings related to the bond fraud scandal.
He further mentioned that several cases involving past incidents of fraud and corruption are expected to be brought before the court against numerous individuals.
