Prime Minister Boris Johnson clung to power defiantly on Thursday, despite four top ministers resigning and a seemingly unstoppable revolt by his own lawmakers that threatens to paralyze the British government.   Over 50 ministers have deserted the government, which is unprecedented.

Dozens of officials have resigned, and former allies are urging British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to resign as yet another scandal engulfs his leadership. ‘Are we on the verge of a constitutional crisis?’ This is just one of many serious questions being raised this morning,’ says Bénédicte Paviot, FRANCE 24’s correspondent in London.(Curtesy France 24)
