Street Burger opens sizzling new branch in Nawala

Street Burger -home of Sri Lanka’s original gourmet burgers- is now in Nawala, and celebrating the opening of its 4th branch in the country. This new restaurant opening comes as part of the homegrown chain’s continued expansion across the island, in the hope of catering to more customers and keeping up with the restaurant’s growing popularity.

“We’re excited to be able to make more accessible our signature brand of uniquely hand-crafted burgers and flavours, and we now look forward to welcoming customers and local residents to our brand-new outlet in Nawala,” said Masoon Samoon, Co-founder & director at Street Burger. “We pride ourselves in having revolutionized the burger scene here in Sri Lanka, and we aim to continue to elevate the dining experience by serving up an innovative menu that is high on flavour and made from only the freshest ingredients.”

Born from a humble pop-up food truck on Marine Drive in 2016, but bolstered by a passion for burgers and testing the culinary waters, Street Burger has now cemented for itself a reputation as “the” burger restaurant in Sri Lanka, offering a constantly evolving, mouth-watering range of burgers, sides, and shakes, while also consistently setting higher standards of quality and service.

Internally, the brand is also committed to the professional development of its employees -across all levels- through various in-store training programs for organizational growth, but also with the larger goal of creating better career pathways in the food industry.

Adding to its growing list of eateries, Street Burger currently operates from four dine-in outlets across Colombo -Bambalapitiya, Ethul Kotte, Mt. Lavinia, and now Nawala- , with further expansion plans – of both, brand and menu – in the pipeline.

In particular, Street Burger’s new Nawala outlet’s vibrant and fresh interior aesthetic serves as a testament to the brand’s bolder rebranding vision: that of an aspiring, local eatery large in flavour and even larger in spirit.
