Millionaire businessman Mr Dhammika Perera has presented a proposal to build a community kitchen in every village and provide food and drink to the poor families in the village who have difficulty in providing food and drink. Sri Lanka Latest News
Mr Dhammika Perera has revealed this while presenting the action plan to increase the country’s per capita gross domestic product to US$ 12,000 under the theme of ‘Rich Village – Rich Country’.
Accordingly, he has proposed to build this community kitchen in a public place like a temple, church, or temple in every village, 50% of the cost should be borne by the government, and the remaining 50% should be provided by the philanthropists and society companies of the village.
As the first step of this program, a community kitchen like this is going to be started in a selected village in the next few weeks.
