While the government was doing everything to postpone the election, Mr.  Lakshman Kiriella, G.L. Peiris Mr. Sumanthiran and Dayasiri Jayasekara asked for the election.  JVP was not bothered Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara said.

Attending a press conference, he said that the groups that were behind the government’s decision to postpone the election are now preparing and claiming the win.
