A delegation led by the Secretary to the Ministry of Power in India Pankaj Agarwal, and High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha met with the Minister of Power and Energy, Kanchana Wijesekara, yesterday (27).
The delegation is on a 3-day visit to discuss power sector cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Wijesekara stated that the discussion covered policy plans, progress, and timelines for the implementation of the proposed power grid interconnectivity, 130 MW Sampur power project, Jaffna electrification project, and other investments about renewable energy.
