Wang Wenbin, Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, emphasises that the Yuanwang-5 ship’s marine scientific research activities are in accordance with international law and international customary practise.
Speaking to the media, the Spokesperson stated that China, as a friendly neighbour, is deeply concerned about the economic and social difficulties that Sri Lanka is currently facing.
Furthermore, Spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated that China has been doing everything possible to support and assist Sri Lanka in overcoming its difficulties, and that it will continue to do so in the future.
