Wijedasa and Ali Sabri took a team to South Africa to learn how to uncover the truth.

A delegation including Justice and Prison Affairs Minister Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa and Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri left for South Africa yesterday (21) morning.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the purpose of this visit is to gain the experience of the South African government on how to properly and successfully conduct the work of the ‘Truth-Finding Commission’ to be established in this country.

When, South African High Commissioner in Sri Lanka S.E. Schalk met the Minister of Justice the other day, he had made a special diplomatic invitation to come to gain experience on how the truth-seeking commission installed in his country works.

According to that invitation, they left for South Africa.
