Its Director General Mr. Saman Sri Ratnayake said that the Election Commission is still ready to hold the vote as scheduled if the postal ballots are given tomorrow.
He pointed out that if the first ballots are received by the 2nd, the commission will be able to hold the election on the 9th as scheduled.
