Transparency is needed! The Vice President of the World Bank informs Sri Lanka!

The World Bank’s Vice President for South Asia, Martin Razor, says that in order to be successful, all matters including reforms aimed at protecting vulnerable groups must be done with transparency.

A meeting was held between the Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe and Mr. Martin Racer during the period between the meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington. In this meeting, renewable energy and the digital economy were discussed as well as small and medium scale businesses based on exports. It is stated in a Twitter message.

Martin Racer has said that he is happy with the progress made in the implementation of reforms in Sri Lanka and that the World Bank will provide ideas and financial support to bring the country back to reality.
