Railway unions go on strike.

The Railway Trade Unions announced that several railway trade unions have gone on strike with immediate effect. Railway guards and engine drivers are among those taking part in the strike action.
Several trains were cancelled earlier today due to railway staff being unable to report for duty. As a result, several long-distance and office trains were canceled.
Meanwhile, the Department of Railways warned that there could be delays in railway service as a result of some railway employees failing to report to work due to the fuel crisis.
