Pathum Kerner, a social media activist, has been granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Pathum Kerner was produced earlier today in front of an identification parade.
An army soldier who is a witness in the case is said to have identified him.
Pathum Kerner was apprehended on Thursday (28) after turning himself in to the Colombo Crimes Division.
The arrest of Pathum Kerner was linked to the protest at Polduwa Junction in Battaramulla, where unruly incidents occurred, according to the police.
