A municipal councilor has submitted a complaint to the Election Commission that it is planned to bring contracts worth 1500 lakhs to the Kaduwela Municipal Council on the first of February when an election has been announced.

The MP alleged that a commission of 5 crores will go to Pohottuva and a commission of 5 lakhs will be received by a candidate from Pohottuva.
