The Public Utilities Commission has informed the Cabinet that it rejects the proposed electricity tariff revision approved by the Cabinet.

Issuing an announcement, the Public Utilities Commission says that its chairman, Mr. Janaka Ratnayake has informed the Cabinet Secretary about this in writing.
