It is reported that a written complaint has been submitted by Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero to Criminal Investigation Department against Reverend Jerome Fernando.
It is said that the written complaint states that Reverend Jerome Fernando has insulted the Buddha and that his statements are hindering religious harmony.
Gnanasara Thero, who says that the Christian fundamentalists have launched the process of preaching rapidly in the country, accuses Pastor Jerome Fernando of being a leader involved in that process.
