Many of these people are said to have gone abroad for the New Year holidays.
Former President MP Maithripala Sirisena Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha, State Minister Shehan Semasinghe, State Minister Pramitha Bandara Thennakone and MP Janaka Bandara Thennakone are some of the Ministers who are abroad.
It is said that some MPs go to see their Children who are studying abroad.
The Parliament was adjourned until the 24th after the last meeting on the 3rd. Thus, MPs have got leave for almost three weeks.
Meanwhile, another group of MPs have gone to Nuwara Eliya to spend the New Year holidays.
