Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero, who was admitted to the hospital after falling ill, has been diagnosed with Dengue.
A senior official attached to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka confirmed that Ven. Galwewa Siridhamma Thero was admitted to the hospital due to a fever and is now receiving treatment for dengue.
The Thero is currently detained for 90 days under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
