Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs. Rajindra Jayasuriya appointed a five-member special medical board today (27) to decide whether the death of Mr. Dinesh Shafter, who is the director of Janashakti Group, was a suicide or a murder.
This five-member special medical board, which was appointed under the chairmanship of Professor Asela Mendis, an expert in forensic medicine, includes two senior forensic medical officers.
These facts were presented when the magisterial inquiry related to this incident was reconvened before the court today (26).
