In response to recent charges of fraud in the importation of coal to Sri Lanka, the Auditor General’s Department has started a special audit.
Speaking to media, the Auditor General P. C. Wickramaratne stated that the Audit is being conducted in accordance with the Committee on Public Finance’s request.
He stated that COPF would soon have access to the final report.
