Former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabral has printed money worth 446 billion rupees in the 203 days since he assumed the office of Governor of the Central Bank, and the current Governor Nandal, who succeeded him as the Governor of the Central Bank, has printed 691 billion rupees in the first 203 days of his tenure.
Accordingly, it is said that Mr. Ajith Nivard Kabral has printed 2.2 billion rupees per day and Mr. S Nandalal has printed 3.4 billion rupees per day.
However, according to the recommendations of the International Monetary Fund, it is reported that money printing has been suspended.
