The Criminal Investigation Department, Computer Crime Division, Social Media Crime Investigation Division says that a person who created a fake Facebook account and abused the photos of little girls was arrested. The arrested suspect is a 40-year-old father of one who works as an account clerk. The police said that a father had made a complaint that a photo of his little daughter posted on a Facebook page was posted on a fake Facebook page and sent to the internet using various sentences that did not match the standard and harsh words.
Accordingly, in the preliminary investigations, the suspect used the photos of the little girls in the fake Facebook account to make a bid for the girls? The police say that he had used words containing low comments etc.
Accordingly, on the instructions of Mr. Lucky Randeniya, Senior Superintendent of Police of the Computer Crime Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Inspector B. V.I. Gayashree arrested the suspect after a long investigation conducted by them whth the initiative of in the name of information obtained from the Internet through the international information exchange method and IP information used to start a fake Facebook account as well as phone records.
