Former Minister S.M. Chandrasena and former North Central Province Chief Minister Mr. S.M. Ranjith have been protested.
It happened as they were marching down the streets with supporters after handing over nominations for local government elections yesterday.
A group of opposition parties booed them and their supporters in protest.
