A thug attacked Mr. Palitha Rajapaksa, the senior medical officer of Badulla Hospital’s emergency treatment unit.
A girl who hanged herself yesterday was already dead when she arrived at the hospital, and doctors say her life could not be saved because of the delay in getting her there.
After hearing this, the enraged crowd stormed the hospital and attacked Dr. Palita Rajapaksa.
In this regard, the doctor filed a complaint with the police, and three suspects were arrested as a result.

Mr. Palitha Rajapakse has received a lot of praise on social media for arriving at the hospital in the middle of the night dressed in shorts to treat several people who were involved in an accident and have been hospitalised for a few days.
