The official talks between the representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the Sri Lankan authorities will start today (12).
According to senior official of the Ministry of Finance mentioned that the officials of the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank will participate in it.
Matters related to the effective use of the loan amount given to Sri Lanka by the International Monetary Fund and the agreed matters are to be discussed here.
The senior official of the Ministry of Finance stated that the relevant representatives met and discussed with President Ranil Wickramasinghe yesterday.
The representatives of the International Monetary Fund will stay in Sri Lanka until the 23rd.
