Tiran deports the Chinese dual passport holder who was permitted by Arundika’s intervention.

The Minister of Public Security, Mr. Tiran Alas, has ordered the deportation of the Chinese national who came to Sri Lanka in possession of two passports and was taken into custody by the Immigration Department.

The Chinese in question had arrived at Katunayake Airport from Dubai on the 18th night.

This Chinese national was brought into the country according to a letter submitted by the Minister of State, Arundika Fernando.

When it was revealed that the Chinese national in question had a Chinese flight license and a flight license belonging to an African country, Guinea, he was taken into custody by the Immigration Department.

Meanwhile, it was reported that he behaved restlessly in the airport after the security forces took steps to detain him.

However, steps were taken to release him and according to the order of the Minister of Public Security Mr. Tiran Alas, he was summoned again before the Immigration Department and a statement was recorded.
