This morning, the delayed SriLankan UL605 arrived in Katunayaka.

The SriLankan Airlines passenger flight (UL-605), which experienced a technical problem at Melbourne Airport on Saturday (15), arrived at Katunayake International Airport at 7.40 a.m. today.

This plane carried 218 passengers, including five children, and 17 crew members.

This French-made A-330 Airbus-type aircraft was scheduled to arrive at Katunayake Airport on Saturday at 10.25 p.m., but the flight was cancelled due to a technical failure.

Later that night (15), a group of six engineers from SriLanka Airlines flew to Australia to repair the aircraft, which was returned to Katunayake Airport today.
