The parties involved in the struggle said that they will continue to struggle with the children for the future of the country’s children no matter how many obstacles come their way.
Social activist Mrs. Rashmini Vihanga who spoke un a media briefing said,
“On the 9th, my husband saw the child in his arms and came and attacked him. No matter what anyone says, we take our children and go down the street. There is no way to feed even lentils and rice. There is no way to give some milk powder. We took to the streets because of those issues. We have not taken the children on the road for so long. “
