This is what a mother in Greece told the media just before the prime minister met for discussion “The first condition of a party is that you should leave.”
The opposition leader of Greece said only that
I was elected with an presidential mandate . when you join the government . I give you a powerful ministry which is not second to the prime minister…’

All party government or Single Party government
Today sri Lanka is similar to Greece then a bankrupt country. They came out of this bankruptcy forming a government under a non-partisan prime minister.

why there is no one to tell Ranil this who is trying to form a all party government ?
This was made clear to Ranil by Sarath Fonseka
He got in to the parliament through the national list , polled 134 pohottuwa MPs votes and have appointed a prime minister and calling us to form a all party government.
the facat is Ranil got elected through pohottuwa MPs votes, prime minister is a loyal servant of Rajapakse’s. Under such a president and a Prime minister the government will be single party government not an all party one.
what is this Single party Government…?
This is not a single party government. this is all party ‘garbage truck’ which carry Rajapakse sins. Council garbage truck carry garbage this all party garbage truck carry Rajapakse garbage. Before Ranil became the President the main opposition SJB, JVP and even single party UNP too accused the creators of this economic debacle are Rajapakses.
The protest by people was aimed to recover the wealth Rajapakses robbed. Protesters asked for a all party government to recover Rajapakses looted money and bring them to book. Rajapakses were willing to give-up Presidential and prime mistrial positions but fear to go to Jail. They took immediate action to make Ranil the president and Dinesh prime minister to crash this all-party effort.
Ranil as President and Dinesh as prime minister now attempt to prove the creators of the economic down turn not Rajapakses but protest leaders , such as Mudalige, pathum kerner, and Ratta. Country was bankrupt because protesters stole President’s flag. Country was destroyed because protesters sat on president’s chair; stole presidents beer mug.
Then Rajapakses……?
Rajapakses have not stolen, and made the country bankrupt.
Some opposition members pamper about all party government to protect Rajapakse’s…?
Disaster with National government
In Sri Lanka discussion on all party governments aimed to strengthen the government and weaken the opposition.
In 1998 Chandrika said to end the war form a national government. Many UNPs like Wijepala Mends, Nanda Mathiew, and co joined the government and got ministerial positions.
Once again Chandrika in year 2000 as a solution for the ethnic conflict to bringing the ‘package’ said need to from a National government. Ronie de Mel , Mervin Silva, Sarath Kongahe, and crowd joined Chandrika government.
In 2002 Prime Minister Ranil said to bring Pease to the north need to form a National government. Jayaraj Fernandopulle, had secret talks with Ranil Chandrika dissolve the government.
in 2006 when opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe travelled overseas Mahinda wrote a letter to UNP deputy leader Karu Jyasooriya and to solve the ethnic problem proposed a formation of a National government. Karu and another 17 UNP MPs joined the government and got ministerial positions.
In 2015 Maithreepala became President and to form a National Government invited SLFP . A crowd joined Mithree – Ranil government and got ministerial possessions.
What good these National governments has brought to the country……?
Only good has happened to the opposition MPs who were greedily eyeing for ministerial positions. The end result of National government has been the government getting stronger and the opposition weaker and Presidents with the strength gain make people suffer.
Is Ranil’s all party government same….?
Ranil’s all party government wants the same and so is the Pohottuwa. Since pohottuwa rejected an all party government and got Ranil as the President and Dinesh as the prime minister they should show how the country will be taken out of the current mess. If any opposition member claims need of a all party government and join the government that is in sheer greediness of perks and ministerial possessions. the real pain to take the country out of the current mess should be visible in the ruling party.
‘ look we listen to the protesters and both our prime minister and president resigned. we ask the opposition after discussion with all to appoint a president acceptable to all….’
Hariharan’s assessment
if the intentions to take the country back to normalcy this should be told to the pohottuwa. what has happened today is Pohottu President, got a Prime minister appointed and calling the opposition to put the country out of this difficulties come and accept ministerial positions.
In other words what they mean is calling for skilled laborer’s to carry garbage to the Rajapakse garbage truck.
colonel Hareharan who was a chief of Indian peace keeping force that was station in Sri Lanka who is also columinist about Sri Lanka recently in one of his articles said this very clearly.
Through the Rajapkse shadow Ranil has obtained a majority in the parliament. Ranil’s government will not excavate Rajapakse corruption it is certain. Rajapakses closed all the court cases which were filled against them and these will not be opened till next elections. More over as the prime minister of the good governance government Ranils influence all Rajapakse cases were not taken up in the courts.
Harerharan says Rajapakses got Ranil in because they do not want to be jailed. Accordingly any one joining the all party government doing so to protect Rajapakses from their corruption and cheating charges.
