Pubudu Jayagoda, Education Secretary of the Vanguard Socialist Party, spoke out about the Minister of Health’s involvement in the importation of unapproved drugs into Sri Lanka.
Mr. Jagoda stated there that the minister is willing to import inferior drugs from another Indian company without calling for tenders.
Mr. Jagoda stated that Mr. Rambukwella had booked a room in a Chennai super hotel and that the pharmaceutical company had paid the hotel bill.
