The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka says that the basic rights of the people will be affected by giving a broad definition to terrorism through the Anti-Terrorism Bill proposed to be presented by the government.
In a press release, the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission points out that the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill will make it difficult to distinguish between an actual act of terrorism and a legitimate protest.
