The government’s proposal to regulate election expenses has been presented to parliament.

Justice Minister Wijayadasa Rajapaksa presented a proposal to parliament today that includes clauses to limit election expenses.

This proposal is titled as Regulation of Election Expenses.

However, the opposition had previously commented on this matter in the parliament and said that the government is planning to postpone the erasure through various tactics.
