President of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Member of Parliament Prof. G.L Peiris has informed that party the General Assembly of Pohottuwa, which has appointed a new chairman, is against the law!
Professor G. also said that appropriate judicial action will be taken on the basis that the decisions taken in the General Assembly are invalid, null and void. L. Mr. Peiris has further informed.
Meanwhile, at the General Assembly meeting held today (22), Senior Professor Pujya Torthawala Dhammarathana Thero has been appointed as the new President of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
