State Minister Sanath Nishantha says that the national organizer of the Pohottuwa Party Basil Rajapaksa has informed the leaders of the Party that the local government election will definitely be held on the 9th of March.
He said this while joining a political program broadcast on a private TV channel.
The State Minister further said that Mr. Basil Rajapaksa will be responsible for the operations of the local government elections of pohottuwa.
