The Election Commission will meet on Tuesday to take a final decision on the election

The Election Commission will meet next Tuesday to take a final decision regarding the date of the local government elections.
The commission stated that the authorities have not yet received a proper response to the continuous requests for money to conduct the elections.

The commission mentioned that no response has been received so far to the letter addressed to the President as the Minister of Finance.

However, the commission expects to have a discussion with the Prime Minister in the next two days.

The Election Commission has now fixed the date for holding the local government elections on April 25.
