Government analyst is called to submit in court an analytical report pertaining to the laptop computers used by the late businessman Dinesh Shafter and his family members to aid the on-going investigations in to Dinesh Shafter’s murder. This order was made by the Colombo Chief Magistrate today (4)
This order was made by Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna Alwis in response to a motion filed by the CID.
A further magisterial inquiry has been scheduled for May 8.
Prof. Asela Mendis, Prof. D.C.R. Perera, Prof. D.N.P. Fernando, Dr. Siva Subramaniam, and Dr. Rohan Ruwanpura are currently investigating and holding an inquiry to determine Dinesh Shafter’s actual cause of death.Lakmal Sooriyagoda
